The disciplinary committee of The Gambia Football Federation has imposed a two-match ban on Sulayman Kuyateh, Head Coach of domestic first division side Brikama United, for what the committee calls ‘misconduct on the bench’
Coach Kuyateh is therefore not allowed to sit or stand behind the team bench nor is he to enter the dressing room before, during, and after the games. “Failure to comply will lead to a severe disciplinary action,” said the disciplinary committee.
In a similar move, the same committee has suspended Malang I Bojang and Dodou Sambou, both of Immigration Football Club. Bojang is suspended for two matches for committing a serious foul play, while Sambou has also been suspended for one match after a second cautionable offence.
Meanwhile, due to an engagement at the Independence Stadium on Saturday, the league match between Steve Biko and GPA has been moved to the Serrekunda West Mini-Stadium.
