Volleyball Players Call on GNOC Boss

The Gambia volleyball team that participated in the final round of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games Qualifiers for Africa held in Nigeria and Tunisia on Wednesday paid a courtesy call on the officials of The Gambia National Olympic Committee.

Bai Dodou Jallow, acting President of The Gambia Volleyball Federation, said their mission to the GNOC was to express their appreciation to the NOC for their unflinching support to the Federation.

He said the team has made the country proud in their recent competitions, while thanking all for the support.

Alhaji Momodou Dibba, President of the GNOC congratulated the players for their exceptional performance demonstrated in the competitions they represented the country.

Dibba said he was very pleased that the country is now among the top 10 countries in African volleyball and assured them of the GNOC’s continues support.

Sainabou Tambedou spoke on behalf of the players and thanked the GNOC for the support rendered to the volleyball team.
