The coach of Kololi Academy has blame bad refereeing after losing their derby with Marimoo FC by 1-0 in a game played on Tuesday at the Father Gough Sports Complex.
Sainey Conteh’s 21st minute goal proved enough to earn Marimoo its first win in the Nawettan.
A disappointed looking Coach Thomas said the bad officiating was visible by all.
“I like acting professionally in the pitch which is why no one sees me complain but I still challenge the official to revisit his mistakes to avoid more of such controversial callings. Marimoo is a good team and my mistake was reserving my key players to observe the match in the first encounter,” he said, while hoping for more points in their forthcoming games.
Head Coach of Marimoo, Sulayman Bah confirmed that the game was a derby as both teams share the same training ground.
“We knew it was going to be a tough game so we were prepared and made åthe 21st minute which granted us maximum points,” Bah ended.
In a game played earlier, Cosmos drew goalless with Global Properties/SSJFC.
