Guiguie FC last Tuesday collected three points with a spectacular 2-0 win against D’Dolphins FC in their second game in the ongoing Manjai Kunda Nawettan played at the Father Gough Sports Complex.
It was a tough encounter as both teams strived to score after squandering so many chances, before Guiguie FC took control of the game; as Kebba Wally’s brace in the 66th and 77th minutes respectively were enough for Guiguie to secure a win.
Speaking to Observer Sports in a post-match interview, Pape Mbowe, the Head Coach of Guiguie FC, said he was happy for the performance. He expressed his delight in securing six points from two games, noting that their ambition is to win both the super cup and the league trophy.
Mike SH, the Head Coach of D’Dolphins FC, on his part said, they had accepted the defeat in good faith and that they are working even harder for their next game. He acknowledged that he was disappointed with his boys, but promised to work hard to improve their performance.
