The Baboucarr Jallow Academy (B.J Academy), Shop Bi FC, Future Stars FC and Latrikunda United became the latest teams to book their places in the knockout stages of the ongoing Serekunda East Nawettan following their respective wins over the weekend.
Thirty-two teams started the competition but only 16 teams would qualify to the first knockout phase.
B.J Academy FC on Thursday defeated Ebbeh Gi FC 1-0 in the early game played at the Serrekunda East Mini-Stadium, while Shop Bi FC also beat Nguma FC by the same scoreline.
B.J Academy and Shop Bi are the teams that made it to the next round of the competition in Group C with 5 points each.
Latrikunda United defeated Uprising FC 1-0, while Future Stars FC also eliminated London United by the same scoreline.
Meanwhile, Future Stars FC and Latrikunda United progressed to the next round of the competition in Group G.
Cannon FC also defeated Maccassa FC 1-0 in the final game of Group D. Though Cannon FC win the game, they were eliminated in the tournament as Maccassa already qualified to the next round with 6 points.
