Benghazi and Kogne Bi have become the first two teams to book their places in the next stage of the Serrekunda West Modou Inna Sey Memorial knockout championship, following their respective 1-0 wins over Harlem and Madac Academy on Sunday.
Benghazi are currently on top of Group B with 6 points in the league, while Kogne Bi are third place in Group D with a point.
Both games attracted a large turnout of spectators over the weekend as fans travelled far and wide to cheer up their favorite teams.
At the time of going to press on Monday, Ruhagi was playing against DK United in the 3pm kick-off, while Kanifing Estate was to take on Kanifing Layout at 5pm in an all-Kanifing affair.
Meanwhile, today’s (Tuesday) fixtures will see Koko Academy take on Pencha Bi at 3pm, while Jeshwang City battles it out with Blackpool at 5pm.
On Wednessday (tomorrow), Bijilo-based Sankum FC will face West Coast at 3pm and Manga 11 lock horns with Unicorns at 5pm.
