The knockout competition of the 2016 Manjai Nawettan is getting heated at the Father Gough Sports complex. Talibi FC and Dippakunda Ajax FC over the weekend become the latest teams to progress to the second round of the 2016 Manjai kunda knockout tournament following their respective wins over Box bi FC and kololi united.
Talibi FC beat Box bi FC 4-0 on a post match penalty shoot-out following a goalless draw in the regulation time.
Meanwhile, in the earlier encounter, Johannes FC beat Bayern Central 2-1 in the regulation time. Kololi Central defeat Brusubi Phase 2 by 2-0.
The other games between Lemon Tree FC VS Brusubi Pak Food and D’Dolphins vs Global properties were cancelled on Saturday and reschedule for yesterday (Monday).
