The second round of the GFF 1st Division domestic football league will resume from the break next Saturday when league leaders Gambia Ports Authority take on struggling Banjul United in an all-Banjul affair at the KG5 mini stadium in Banjul.
Banjul United are just two places above the relegation zone with 8 points in the first round and a win for them will be worth celebrating.
On the other hand, a win for the Ferry boys will extend their unbeaten run and lead in this year’s campaign.
League’s bottom side Bombada will also entertain 6th placed Gamtel at the Box Bar mini stadium in Brikama on Saturday. Bombada are currently sitting at the bottom of the league with 7 points and Gamtel are on 6th place with 14 points.
Also to watch on Saturday is Hawks taking on Steve Biko at the Serrekunda West mini stadium. Hawks are on 9th place with 12 points, while Steve Biko are on 5th place with 15 points.
In the Sunday games, Real De Banjul host Serrekunda United at the KGI mini stadium in Banjul; GAF face Brikama United at SK East while Wallindan welcome Samger at the Stadium.
