The head coach of the Senegalese league club Jaaraf, Malick Daff, has said that Gambian footballers are doing well in the Senegalese football league.
Daff, who was speaking in an interview with Observer Sports added, “They [Gambian players in Senegal] are good ambassadors of The Gambia.”
Daff and his ASC Jaaraf were in the country for a pre-season training during which they played against Steve Biko and Brikama United.
As to whether the team realised the purpose for the pre-season training to The Gambia, he replied, “Yes!! Brikama United is a physical team and they played like our opponent Jambarr.”
Jarraf already has a Gambian in their ranks in the name of Saikou Conteh and Daff revealed his intentions of signing more Gambians.
