The Latrikunda German-based team, Bengazi FC will take on the Kanifing Estate outfits Anfield in the pending final of the 2016 Serekunda West Nawettan following their respective lone goal wins over Tigers FC and Blackpool FC at the Independence Stadium in Bakau on Tuesday.
Anfield FC beat Blackpool FC through Habibou Camara’s 53rdminute lone goal in the semifinal match earlier on Tuesday, while in the late semifinal match, Bengazi also beat Tigers FC by the same score goal win through Baba Danso’s goal in the early 7thminute of the game.
Speaking in an interview with Observer Sports, the head coach of Benghazi, Antu Badjan expressed delight for reaching to the final of the league competition. He commended his players and fans for the achievement.
For his part, the head coach of Anfield FC, Gibou Darboe was quite upbeat ahead of the final on Friday.
