Coach and his Gambia U-20 side yesterday (Monday) resumed training ahead of an international friendly with neighboring Senegal U-20 on June 29.
The friendly is scheduled for next week in Dakar, as the Gambia’s U-20 prepares for Guinea Conakry in the final and decisive round of qualifiers for the African Youth Championship in Zambia early next year.
The Gambia will host Guinea Conakry in the first leg at home on the 10th July before the return leg two weeks later in Conakry.
Meanwhile, there will be a media conference with Head Coach Omar Sise, today (Tuesday) 6pm at the Independence Stadium in Bakau after the team’s training session.
The Gambia’s performance in the qualifiers has been exemplary after the Young Scorpions eliminated Sierra Leone and Morocco to advance to the final round.
