Senegal’s defender Kalidou Koulibaly signed a five-year contract extension with Serie A club Napoli on Monday.
The new deal ties the 25-year-old to the club until 2021.
Koulibaly was heavily linked with a move to the English Premier League in August, with Chelsea among the clubs trying to sign him.
Napoli are currently top of Serie A with 10 points, one ahead of champions Juventus, after four games.
