Starlight FC and Box Bi FC have book places to the last four (semis) of the Manjai League tournament following their respective wins over Kololi Central and Giants FC on Tuesday.
The games played at the Manjai Father Gough Sports Complex Football Field attracted huge sports loving fans in the
community.
Starlight FC eliminated Kololi Central in the quarterfinal stage with Sulayman Keita lone goal to nil in the 65th minute of the game.
Meanwhile, in the late encounter played on the same day, Box Bi FC also secured a place to the semifinal of the league competition following a 3-2 post-match penalty shootout win over Giants FC after a goalless stalemate in the regulation period.
Both teams started extremely well creating lots of goal scoring chances, but none was able to convert any of the chances created.
At the time of going to the press yesterday (Wednesday), the early
kickoff game was to feature Bayern Central versus Brusubi Phase 2, while Ballack FC was to entertain Brusubi Pak Food in the late kickoff match.
