Speaking at the seminar, GFF adviser Alhaji Omar Sey described the seminar as very valuable for the enhancement of club management. He urged the club managers to work with the Football Federation hence according to him, ‘the clubs make up the Federation’.

Jammeh for his part explained on adapting and improving the sporting infrastructure of clubs and furthermore ensuring that clubs have the appropriate knowledge and application in respect of management and organisation.

Abdou Salaam Jammeh who doubles as the GFF’s deputy general secretary touched on infrastructure criteria and emphasised that all clubs must meet up the prerequisites. According to him, CAF and FIFA does not any longer condone amateur football management. He said all playing grounds and stadia must have control room, ground rules, training facilities, sanitary facilities amongst others.
