GFF League Matches Resume Today

The Gambia Football Federation has announced that its domestic league matches will resume today (Thursday) after suspending all games over the weekend due to the country’s presidential election.

The league division two resume at the designated playing grounds, while the first tier, will go as planned over the weekend. This information was disclosed by the league rganising committee.

Lions of Banjul will play Wallidan at the KG5 Mini-Stadium in Banjul, while Blue Stars entertain Red Hawks at the Serekunda East Mini-Stadium, and Brufut United complete today’s fixtures when they battle with Banjul United at the Box Ba Mini-Stadium.

Tomorrow (Friday) Interior will lock horns with Fortune at the Serekunda East Mini-Stadium, Waa Banjul entertains B.K Milan FC at home in Banjul and Bakau United welcome Serekunda East at the Independence Stadium, while Kexx United will play Banjul United in Brikama.

In the first division on Saturday, Hawks will entertain defending champions Gambia Ports Authority (GPA) at the KG5 Mini-Stadium in Banjul, Bomboda FC will play Armed Forces (GAF) in Brikama, and Tallinding United will welcome Real de Banjul at the Serekunda East Park.

On Sunday, unbeaten Marimoo FC will welcome Serekunda United at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda, Gamtel FC will play Steve Biko at the Serekunda East , while Brikama United will also welcome Samger FC at the Box Ba Mini-Stadium in Brikama.
