After guiding his Jalaan side to promotion to the Oman Premier League, Gambia’s Ebrima Camara, better known as Bura, is hoping to have a fantastic season when it gets underway.
“I just started training in advance, we are having a break and I am preparing to have a brighter season and make a bigger impact in Oman,” he told Observer Sports in an interview.
Camara scored a brace for Jaalan FC in their play-off game against Al-Musanah to gain a promotion from the 1st division to the Oman Premier League.
The former Bakau United sensational attacker scored 12 goals for his club last season. He described the level of football in Oman as ‘tactically difficult’.
On the senior Scorpions team, he said, “I was extremely surprised that I have not been called yet. I did well for my club in Oman, but maybe my performance is not impressive to the coach. I will work hard to improve if the coach thinks I was not good enough last season.”
Regarding the U-20 team that is currently doing well and putting smiles on all fans, Bura said he likes the set up of the squad, describing the side as a good one.
