It was all disappointment for fans and players of Uprising FC after their side was shown the exit door by Tigers in the 2016 Serrekunda West league on Monday.

It was a hard-fought game, in which  the two sides could only be separated at a post-match penalty shoot-out.

In the other game played on the same day, Anfield defeated Old Jeshwang by 4-3 on post-match penalty shoot-out following a goalless stalemate at regulation time.

Speaking in an interview with Observer Sports, Buba Jarju, the head coach of Tigers, said that he was proud of the win and promised to continue to please their fans for dedicating their heart and time to the team. He added that he and his team would try hard to work on their goal scoring because it is the problem that they have been facing even during their previous games.

He noted that their mission (as a team) is to make it to the final and subsequently win the trophy.
